Atkins: Fits a Trucker Sized Appetite

I've wanted to lose weight since the age of 10. Calorie-counting wasn't working. As soon as I started Atkins, BAM! -- my weight dropped!

I absolutely refuse to go hungry, and low-carbing accomodates my trucker sized appetite! I appreciate that on Atkins there are a plethora of options.

South Beach: A Balanced, Low-Carb Lifestyle

After a hysterectomy, I gained 12 lbs. and was feeling lethargic and unable to concentrate. My clothes didn't fit me and I refused to buy a larger size.

South Beach allows me to eat all healthy, energy producing foods with vegetables, proteins and good fats. The diet is easy to maintain, and I never feel hungry.

Weight Watchers: Forget Dieting, It's a Way of Life

My weight has bothered me most of my adult life. Doing Weight Watchers has proven to be my most successful attempt at losing weight.

It really isn't a "diet," it's a lifestyle. There are no food restrictions, I can eat whatever I'm craving, as long as I work it into my daily points allotment.

Curves: A Diet and Exercise Boost

When I turned 50 I was overweight, miserable and in lousy shape. I HAD to do something!

Dieting alone dooms you to put back on the weight. Curves gives you a diet and metabolism boost with healthy food and fat-burning exercises. I loved the program so much that I bought my own franchise!

Dr. Phil: Dieting to Nourish Body and Soul

A collection of incidents motivated me to try Dr. Phil: high blood pressure, a painful foot condition, trouble putting on pantyhose and the scale hitting 250!

I have learned that I used food inappropriately -- not for nourishment of the body, but to feed a different kind of emotional hunger.
